A quote from the UUA Association Sunday poster:
We are better together! As we approach the
fiftieth anniversary of Unitarian Universalism,
we seek to continue our tradition of opening our
doors to newcomers, sharing our values with the
world, and building a shared ministry. Join us in
Celebrating 50 Years and the Future of Our Faith!

October  17 -- Social  Sunday -- a Socrates Cafe meeting at  10 am at the Golden Leaf Coffee Shop on Stout Road.

October  24 --  "Diversity   Personified"      Facilitator: Juliana Schmidt
Congratulations to our guest speaker Rev. Nancy Holden, who received Final UUA Fellowship at GA in Minneapolis this past summer!  Her topic this morning concerns diversity in our churches and fellowships.  She writes:  "The number one topic in the UUA now is “multiculturalism,” but this word can be defined in different ways.  If it means creating a fellowship that looks like a little United Nations, we do not have the power to make that happen....[yet] we are far from homogenous... In fact, every one of us is a unique combination of cultures --“diversity personified”...

October 31 -- Social Sunday -- Enjoy Halloween!
